The Homecraft, Horticulture and Cookery competitions have long been highlights of many country shows, and the Royal Geelong Show is no exception!
The Royal Geelong Show is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages and talents to showcase their creativity. It is also a fantastic way to show your support of our local community event. Whether you can grow vegetables or roses, paint, draw, sew, bake or create there is a category to suit you!

The woodwork pieces on display at the Royal Geelong Show are truly a work of art.
Competition classes include: woodturning (spindle or face plate), article made using only Australian Timber, woodwork piece combined with other material or wood only and mosaic woodwork.

The Woolcraft displays and demonstrations in the Sheep Pavilion is one of the many must see features of the Royal Geelong Show.
Most of the entries in the woolcraft competitions are created using hand spun, hand woven wool or handmade felt.
Competition highlights include the paraded garments, hand spinning masterpieces, skeins, felting and hand weaving.
