Beef Carcase & Prime Lamb

The Royal Geelong Show Beef Carcase & Prime Lamb competition sets the benchmark for many of the region's beef and lamb producers.

Over 180 of regional Victoria's best Beef and Dairy cattle are on display at the Royal Geelong Show in our Cattle Pavilion.

Dairy Goat

The Dairy Goat Show in the Goat Pavilion is something that is sure to "udderly" impress!

There are prizes all around for milk, udders, does, doe kids, bucks, buck kids and goatlings.

Fleece & Fine Lambswool

Geelong is a city synonymous with wool and the wool industry – sheep farming began here in 1835 and the first of many woolen mills opened here in 1868. For many years the city was known as the 'wool centre of the world'.

 

The Royal Geelong Fleece & Fine Lambswool competitions showcase some of the highest quality wool produced from our region.
